natalie and i went together to the chicago public library a few times this year. the first time, tallulah and steven went with us. i tried to get a library card, but since my driver's license still said i lived in north carolina, they wouldn't give me one. later, i brought a piece of mail confirming my residence on state street. the clerk gave me two cards, one of which i gave to my roommate. 

 

i love it here, but i love it there also. how is it possible to live in two places at once?
